There was this one part from The Vow that really stuck out to me. It was when Paige was talking to her mother because she found out why she wasn’t close with her family because of her dad, that had an affair with her friend. And she asked her mother ‘why didn’t you leave [him]?’ Her mom said something like, “I chose to stay with him for all the things he’s done right; not the one thing he’s done wrong. I chose to forgive him.” <3
